Also known as Brazilian Teak or Southern Chestnut, Cumaru is an outstanding wood for exterior decking. Its grain gives texture and character to the wood surface and also provides for slip-resistance in wet environments, such as docks. We carry a large inventory of only the finest quality Cumaru decking.
You can preserve the golden-brown-toned color and the character of the natural grain pattern of Cumaru decking by periodically applying a UV inhibitor. Or you can simply allow your Cumaru deck to weather to a lovely silvery patina.
