Often called Brazilian Redwood, Massaranduba is a beautiful, finely-grained and uniformly colored, light reddish wood that makes an quietly elegant deck. It is one of the finest products available for exterior decking. We carry a large inventory of the finest quality Massaranduba decking.

Widely used in fine decking in Europe and South America, a Massaranduba deck is knot-free, even-toned, and low maintenance.

It is smooth to the touch and remains smooth and splinter-free. It shares many of the properties of ipe. It is as strong, hard, and durable as ipe. And, like ipe, it is decay and insect resistant - without use of chemicals.

Our Massaranduba is kiln-dried to prevent shrinking and checking.

You can preserve the redwood coloration effect of Massaranduba decking by periodically applying a UV inhibitor. Or you can allow your Massaranduba deck to weather to a lovely silvery patina.
