Southern Chestnut

Southern Chestnut is also known as Brazilian Teak or Cumaru. It is an extremely hard and durable, almost three times as hard as red oak. This Brazilian wood species is naturally decay resistant and has a uniform yellowish-brown to light brown color with a tight even grain. Southern Chestnut makes a beautiful durable floor that can stand up to extremely high traffic and abuse. People who prefer a look to their floor that is browner than Brazilian Cherry typically go with our Southern Chestnut. Its beautiful grain and color will give you an exotic, elegant look that you will enjoy for years.
